NB As this song is quite difficult to produce an effective accompaniment for (as there are lots of sustained chords), this recording has been made in a fairly strict tempo throughout (although it speeds up slightly around 'wild, hast getobt' until 'Herz und Hirn in Not'. However, to aid the singer at various points during long sustained accompaniment bars, the minim (half bar) beat has been added quietly in the left hand to help the singer keep in tempo.
