What genres does www.mp3accompanist.com cover?
We cater for the classical singer and cover classical songs of all types (lieder, mélodies, English song, opera arias, oratorio etc). We don't cover musical theatre or pop but will consider various composers who sit comfortably in more than one genre such as Gershwin. How does mp3accompanist.com work?
We hope that you will find our service simple to use. Browse for an accompaniment, add it to your cart, check out, create a simple account and pay using your credit card or PayPal. You will then receive immediate access to your piano song or aria accompaniment recording. You will be able to download straight away and get back to your music making. You will also receive an email explaining what you have purchased and how much you paid. In that email there will be a link so that you can download your product again.
What am I allowed to do with my piano accompaniment recordings?
These recordings are meant for you to use as your accompaniment. Take them and use them wherever you sing or perform. Listen and work with them privately or in public, we don't mind. Teachers are allowed to use their tracks for as many different singing lessons as they like. The limitation is that the files themselves must not be shared or duplicated. Therefore two singers wishing to work independently with the same recorded accompaniments from our service must each pay for and download them. These recordings represent a huge degree of time, effort and expertise in their preparation. The small cost is really not too much to pay!
How many times can I download my piano accompaniments?
You are entitled to a maximum of 5 downloads of each purchased accompaniment within a period of ten days after the date of transaction. You may not download after this period has elapsed even if you have used none of your available 5 download opportunities.
What do I do if there is a problem downloading a piano accompaniment?
Contact us immediately. We will be happy to help you.
What is the file format of your accompaniment recordings?
As our website title would suggest, all our files are recorded in an industry standard mp3 format. They will therefore play immediately on any music device or computer.
Can I have a refund if I am not happy with my recording?
In the first place, we hope and expect that you will be delighted with all your accompaniments from mp3accompanist.com. We spend many hours on each song or aria to ensure our high standards. If there is a file defect and the recording will not play correctly or the audio quality is distorted or corrupted, then contact us and we will send you a replacement at our normal high quality. Please note, however, that we do not offer refunds on the grounds of artistic objection. We provide you with a preview file of the song or aria on our website and a clear description of the major attributes of each recording. You consequently should already know how we have decided to interpret each work and you can easily determine the exact identity of the repertoire in question along with the key and tempo of its performance. Once you complete the transaction and your product is made available for download, no refund will be available except for objective issues of file quality.
Do you take requests?
Yes, we do requests! Just drop us a line and explain what you want. There is a standard charge of £10 for all such requests though an addional fee may be charged depending on the size and complexity of the commission. Payment is made via PayPal and we will advise you on the progress of the recording, provide a preview for your consideration and then, if you are satisfied, we will provide you with the full accompaniment recording upon receipt of the agreed fee at which point the recording will be made available on our database at our standard rate.
I don't like mp3s and far prefer compact discs. Can you put accompaniments onto a Compact Disc for me and send them the old fashioned way?
Yes, of course. There is a standard charge of £4.99 plus the cost of the recordings that you wish to purchase. Payment is made by PayPal at the time of ordering. We normally dispatch by first class Royal Mail on the same day as the successful PayPal receipt.
